John F. Amorosa

CEO & Managing Member, The Toresco Company

by | Jun 9, 2021

Show Notes:

John Amorosa is the CEO of The Toresco Company, which owns Ridgewood’s tallest building. You’ll probably recognize it: the 5 story brick building downtown at 45 North Broad Street, right across from the train station, next to Steel Wheel. Its official name is “The Lincoln Building”.

Before becoming CEO at Toresco, John earned his MBA after running his own wealth management business. The Toresco family (including John’s grandfather, uncle, and cousin) originally started with auto dealerships before selling those off and focusing on real estate. Now they own commercial real estate, residential, multi-use, investment properties, development, management and more—in towns and cities all over New Jersey.

John describes the process of getting the business off the ground, how he navigated Covid, what it’s like running a family business, and how he plans to grow.
